Proffesional projects

Third person Shooter MMO-RPG

Star Plunder

From ideation and pitch of the concept, I was involved in all stages of development. Defining the world, high level mechanics and live service strategy.

I managed a team of ~75 artist, developers and designers in a remote and international environment. Roadmaps and milestone definition were part of my production duties.

My favorite part of the project was designing the Flying pirate Ships and working alongside the narrative design team on building the world, characters and creative direction for the game.

Battle royale

"BeanLand" by Dumb ways to die

Designed a complete rework of the game, including brand new game modes, Mission system, Gear and inventory systems. Defined the expanded solo progression flow and oversaw the economy definition.

My favorite part of the project was building the brand new game modes, and the freedom to introduce new gear effects and mechanics.

This franchize is amazing and it’s very special for me to collaborate with Playside in building a unique entry in the “Dumb ways to die universe”

Team based MOBA shooter

The Harvest

Defined the rules for the game mode, core loop, gameplay abilities, hero and character design.

My favorite part of the project was working in the PvE mechanics, creating the first enemies of the game and providing the encounter definition

The game also had a TCG component that was really interesting to work with

MMO RPG

Outer Ring

Owner of character movement and abilities, general debuging and bug fixing in UE4. Used GAS system and Visual Studio.

My favorite part of the project was working side by side with the design team to deliver quick prototypes for abilities like jetpack and grappling hook.

VR Story Driven

Who is Michael Sterling?

An Immersive VR experience in which participants embody a young Black male, Michael Sterling, as he experiences the trauma of racism after an encounter with the police. In partnership with Stanford University and Columbia University.

Rapid prototyping and development of core features. Bug fixing and refactor blueprints to C++ seeking better performance and quality standards

My favorite part of the project was working in a game that has a vision of portraying racism and the struggles of a minority.

Passion and Jam projects

Serious game

Hi Five

Develop an interactive experience that follows the Physical rehabilitation process for Patients with Parkinson’s disease. This experience serves as an extraction tool to gather information via a MOCAP System about the player/patient state. After that, visualize the information stored in a Relational DB by a standalone application.

This prototype was developed to test different ways to interact and gather information from the patients using the Mocap System on a physical rehabilitation center.

This project became my thesis.

Battle royale

Mother’s Journey

Narrative driven Puzzle adventure. Follow the story of a Totonac family in a prehispanic world before the Spanish conquest. Venture into the Aztec underworld and help your mother complete her journey through Mictlan. There are no fighting mechanics in the game, we want to transmit the peace and sentiment of gratitude that these Mexican cultures created with their rituals and stories about death.

This game started as a project for the “Unidos Game Jam 2020”.

I am a passionate learner that loves to improve every day.

Me and my dog
About me

My friends are my power.

I am a die-hard Star Wars fan with an intense passion for cinematography, music, and video games. I also love practicing sports, cooking  and going on amazing adventures by playing Dungeons & Dragons. I have 2 dogs (That mean the world to me) and 2 siblings (that I love and admire).

One of my professional and personal goals is to develop meaningful experiences, which can ignite a spark of feelings in people’s lives, inspiring them to have a new vision about themselves and the world that surrounds them.

This is the impact that video games have had in my life, and I would love to have a career in which I can do the same.

I believe that my past experiences and projects have helped me grow and develop as an ethic and committed professional.
